Grant Hendricks is a distinguished business leader and community advocate with a robust background in infrastructure, contracting, and economic development. A graduate of the Lawrenceville School in New Jersey, Hendricks has built an impressive career on Long Island and beyond. For over 25 years, he served as Vice President of BIMASCO, a manufacturing and contracting firm with over 60 years of service to the Long Island infrastructure market, where he expertly managed the preparation and submission of formal municipal bids while fostering strong relationships with public works commissioners and highway superintendents.

Hendricks served as the President of G9 Turf, a company specializing in the installation and maintenance of high-quality synthetic turf systems for sports fields, parks, and recreation departments across the United States. Currently, he leads Independent General Contracting, LLC, a full-service general contracting and private site development company dedicated to crafting vibrant spaces for living, working, and recreation. Notable projects under his leadership include Country Pointe at Plainview, Country Pointe at Yaphank, Bay Shore Residences, Commack Logistic Center, and Gabreski Airport.

A committed public servant, Hendricks has held influential roles such as Vice Chairman of the Suffolk County Industrial Development Agency and the Suffolk County Economic Development Corporation. His extensive community involvement includes serving as a Board Member for the United Way of Long Island, a Trustee for Local 1298 Laborers Union, a Member of the Long Island Regional Planning Council, and a Member of the Energy Class of 2007. Hendricks has also contributed to Southward Ho Country Club as a 15-year member of its Board of Governors and former President.

Hendricks holds several professional certifications, including a New York City BIC License, New York City Buildings Safety Registration / Demolition Endorsement, NYS SWPP Certified, OSHA 30, New York 811 Excavator, a Suffolk County Sewer License, Suffolk County Home Improvement license, and a Nassau County Home Improvement License, underscoring his expertise and dedication to his craft.
